WrdTools allows you to transpose any tables, including those with an irregular structure (with an unequal number of cells in the rows). In this case, the table may contain merged cells or only by columns, or only by rows.
2. In the window that opens, select the preferred transpose mode. 3. Click the OK button to start the process of transposing tables. It would seem that there is nothing unusual in this action, but this function (inverted text) is very rarely used. Let's start, first you need to go to the Insert tab and select the Table menu, right-click on it and select the “Draw a table” option.

That is what should end up. I called my friends and told me how to turn the text in Word 2007, changing directions in other versions is not significantly different from the above method. This can be done in two ways: right-click on the selected area and select "Copy", or use the Ctrl + C hot key combination. Find the item “Transport” and mark it. Press "Next". Word, unlike the most ordinary notebook, allows you to create literally everything you want with letters.

About how to do this simple operation and tells our today's material. There are several exits here - and not one convenient one. Recently, my friends called me and they shocked me with their question. For random selection degrees of text flipping, at the stage when the text area is selected, you can rotate the area at any angle by clicking on the point located in the middle.
The question was how to turn the text in Word and make it as fast as possible. I looked through the tabs to the tables in 2010 - it seems not much different from 2007. Row values will go into columns and vice versa. First you need to create a table, for which click on the item with the same name and select “Draw a table” in it. In the line "Apply" put "To the selected text."

Sometimes when working in spreadsheet editor MS Excel, we meet with a simple at first glance task: transposing a table . Simply put, "turning over" the table from vertical to horizontal position, or vice versa.
It is not difficult at all to do this - just select the “old” table, copy its contents (Ctrl + C), then move the mouse cursor to the free cell of the table and right-click in it.
All you have to do is paste the copied cells using a special paste option, which is called “ Transpose (A) ”.
The transposed table will be copied as an independent editable copy, while all the formatting, as well as formulas from the “old” table, will also be in the “new” one. As you can see, the way is simple, and covers 99% of all user needs.
However, sometimes we need not just to create a transposed copy of the table, but to create a table dependent on the original using the transposition method. For example, if you have a rather impressive “vertical” table with calculations, and you need to display in a more convenient horizontal form only a part of its data (that is, create a demo table), taking into account that the data in the source table change over time.
In this case, it's time to turn to the hidden power of MS Excel, which is in the functions. We need only one of them:
= TRANSPORT ()
= TRANSPOSE ()
As it is not difficult to guess, the function also performs the tasks of transposition, however, it makes it a little different from the above variant.
And I warn you - it does not differ in simplicity.
- Highlight several on MS Excel sheet empty cells , exactly the size of the data that you are going to fit into them. If the original “vertical” table includes 2 columns and 5 rows, then your selection should contain the same number of cells, but exactly the opposite. That is, 5 columns and 2 rows.
- Place the mouse cursor in the formula bar and type = TRANSPORT, and then specify the range in brackets - just select our source table with the mouse. It's easier to use the MS Excel hint, which will appear as soon as you start entering the name of the function.
- Now the element of magic. If after entering all the data just click on enter, instead of a copy of the table, Excel will show you an error. You must enter the data in the same way as an array formula, that is, with the key combination SHIFT + CTRL + Enter . Just click the specified combination when done with the selection of the source table.
That's all ready - transposed function = TRANSPORT () table inserted on the sheet. Didn't I tell you that it will be inserted without the original formatting? Then fix it. This was done on purpose - going back to the example above, in your demo table, a completely different design style may be applied, which has nothing to do with the original one.
Please note that the “new” and “old” tables are dependent - by changing the value in the “old”, you change it in the “new”. This connection is one-way - you cannot change something in the source data by editing their copy.
